Neue Seite

The City with hidden Secrets
The generous heritage of the twins lead us to the northern coast city Zandorffo. Even with a lot of uncertainties and questions about the sudden death of the twin, we decide to follow his last words and take over the control of Zandorffo. After a long trip, both on land and on sea, we and our cargo reach the city.

The underground Palace
The steward, who is the old servant of the twins, is waiting for us in Zandorffo. She is very happily showing us around the city and the old palace of the twins. What surprised us most is, that there is no cityguard anywhere. At first, we enter a big hall in the Palast of the twins with a lot of Statues. These Statues are arranged in the order of increasing IQ (based on the knowledge of the twins), from Jelmre to Humans then Ducks and Dragonewts. Following the Steward, we go through closed doors to the west part of the building. Different markets on different floors are presenting in front of us. We find out that the lower the location of the market, the lower the price of their goods, but the higher the quality they possess. The lower markets are only for the citizens. In the southern part of the building which is the personal living area of the twins (simple life). There are the rooms of the Priests, a shiny golden room of the twins, water reserved area and the bath and bedroom of the twins. After showing us all these, the steward asks us to turn around in the golden room. And she uses a spell to call a Mostali to appear. After talking with this funny creature, the Mostali opens the door of the second level underground right in the middle of the floor.
The hidden city of the Mostalis

A hall of Mostali Statues are presenting in front of us. All of them are made of rocks, presenting the iron, gold, mercury, copper, silver and rock Mostalis. Then we pass a forest with rather unhealthy trees. We are informed that the aim of planting these trees is based on the contract between the Mostali and the twins in order to make food for humans. The Mostali tour guide shows us around different rooms, including the hall with an interesting geometric art pattern, the unterground pool with drinking water directly connecting to the see, a small and deep mine, the conclave room with a round table and 8 Mostali-sized chairs (10 sub-types of Mostalis), the machine room (a spinner) with dinosaurs as engine and Mostalis flying around to control, the room of fire powder (called Boom, all three types are stored there), the room for children education, the room with different color ponds and the information center for business connections (equipped with telegram and system devices). The powerful ambassador is fascinated by the knowledge of Oenriko rocks and turns to the library for more information. The team is staying in the room close to the pool in the living area of the twins. In the second morning, all team members wake up except Kalinorix. A big Mantodea is sitting on Kalinorix and he is still sleeping. The rest of the team is leaving him with the guard girl to meet the diamond Mostali. There is a contract about information, food and boom supply presented in front of us, served by a priest. Surprisingly, Kalinorix's name is already on that contract. After signing our name on the contract, a golden Mostali comes to us and introduces us the long history of theirs. There are 10 kinds of Mostalis: rock (worker, builder); lead (glass maker); quicksilver (food, medicine, boom powder, alchemist); copper (tool maker); tin (food cans producing); broze (metal making); silver (priest); gold (teacher); iron (warrior); diamond (leader).
Take over Jast?!

During our stay in Zandorffo, we recieve a message of Kagata. He asks us for help to take over the city Jast. Although that city officially belongs to us, it is now under control of the son of Kagata. In addition, Kagara will send us an army of 2000 trees to support us, aiming to force the prince to hand out his son (grandson of Kagata). We will get the army under our control as return. We have a short discussion and agree to attend this game. At first, we communicate the prince to tell him his situation. At the same time, we organize our navy to block the city of Jast. Just when we send our orders, two huge Dragonewts with big wings are coming to us with an egg as a gift for Kalinorix. They are the Ambassadors of the dragonewts. They tell us a lot about their history, such as that the last time he died in Zandorffo and the status of him in the Twins Palace. He is also one of the 6 existing Dragonewts on this continent. When he hears about the coming war, his body surprisingly turned red. At that time, the steward is informing us that a monster is waiting for us in Temissrah. We start our trip back to Temissrah. In front of the Jans palace and the tendens office, a demibird is presented. There are only 30 of this species on this continent. The Jann asks to build a demibird farm to teach his people how to ride it. 3 ships go with us to the coast. When reaching the coast, we find out that the part of the coast is the promised fleet. An aldryami is standing up and asks us about our aim. After being informed that we are the inheritors of Jast. He uses 20 min to reorganize the navy and the whole land is moving.

Getting down to Business
My name is Arakha. I am a humble slave of Kalinorix the Kunning, one of the five wing leaders of the Attendants of a great Afadjann. My master in his unfathomable wisdom commanded me to record everything I witness on his journeys, so that future generations of Attendants will understand what happened during this crucial time, in which the Attendants transformed our beloved country's history.

A City, or two, or three
From the sea Fonrit#Zandorffo looked just like some barren rocks and some vineyards. However, when XXX lead us underground we had a different view all together. Beneath the surface lay a huge subterranean compound. It was basically a city under the city. There were living quarters, a market place, storage areas, a temple, an extensive library, an exhibition of various intelligent races and probably more. The market place provides better quality goods to lower prices compared to the upper market. XXX explained to us that the merchants acquired special rights to trade here. The temple was dedicated to the local city god Zidal. I have not heard of this deity before but I noticed that his runes were Darkness, Life and Chaos.

The Rock People
Then XXX lead us to a secure area under the mountain. Behind a secret door lay another town exclusively inhabited by small Rock People, who called themselves Mostali. This area and the existence of the Rock People seemed to be a secret even to the ordinary slaves of Zandorffo. They had a contract with the Twins. They provide fresh water sources, tried to cultivate crop to feed the entire human population (although it did not look that impressive yet) and provide huge amounts of that fire powder. Apparently they even had a ship made from bronze that was able to dive through water like a fish and that could reach the open sea through some subterranean rivers. We had been only to a small part of their town and it seemed to me that they were trying to hide the rest from our eyes. However, I must say that their straight tunnels and cubical halls looked even more impressive than the comparatively crude stone masonry by the humans.

Monster Master
miniatur|I had never seen a monster as ugly as this Tree-Thing. It was sitting on Kalinorix' chest while talking to us. What was it? Was is evil? Had it killed my master?
miniatur|This evil green snake was on my master's chest, when his sould was away.
On the next day my master Kalinorix was late and so we all went to see him. But what we saw was shocking. My master lay motionless on the floor, while his tree son Rustlevoice stood next to him watching us with carefully with bow and arrows in his hands. On my master's chest were two even spookier creatures. One was a nasty green snake about 4 feet tall, staring at us with evil eyes. The other was something I first thought was tree branch, but when I looked more closely I realised that it was some grey tree-ish monster I had never seen before. It was about one foot tall with strange oval eyes and a pointy jaw with sharp teeth. It was disgusting. I was afraid these monsters had killed my master but when Kallingman approached him the tree monster began to speak. In a high and scratchy voice it said: “Come back later!”. No need to say that I was greatly disappointed when Kallingman and even Kastor indeed pulled back. They left my master for dead.

Rock, Paper... sealed
Instead of rescuing Kalinorix the others went on to meet XXX, who was something like a masarin of the Rock People. He sat on a weird throne and in front of him lay a rock with strange markings on it. The priests of Zidal the city god brought a sheet of paper that looked really, really old. I thought it would crumble to dust any moment. Instead XXX explained that the Rock People and the Twins had an ancient treaty that was written both on this paper and on the stone, and that the heirs of the Twins could step in if they wished. To our surprise Kalinorix' signature was already on both documents. He must have been here during the night. Maybe that was the reason for his current state of being. I wondered what unnatural magic was involved in this treaty. Anyway, Kastor signed the contract and her name appeared on both documents, too.

Meanwhile on the other side of the world
While we were doing business as usual, Kalinorix the Kunning was not idle after all. In fact he was on a summit meeting with Kagata, King of the Tree People beyond the eastern shores of Pamaltela. Later Kalinorix explained to me that Kagata had drawn his souls to a small island near a country called Panofey. There Kalinorix wandered around the island until he found a human boy who brought him to several tree soldiers who in turn brought him to the king. Kagata was a large tree, even by his people's standard. He practically ruled half the continent. He told Kalinorix that he had a “sprout” who had turned mad over the past centuries, because he was living away from forests for too long. In fact the sprout was living in Jast and calling himself King of Jast. He had killed one of his two brothers and he had sired a sprout of his own. Now Kagata wanted his grandchild delivered to him. Whether this was to punish his son or to rescue his grandchild from the evil influence of his father, he did not say. Kagata was not willing to fight his own sprout, after all it was family. Therefore he asked Kalinorix to do it for him. He would give the Attendants all possible support, including an army of 4.000 trees. Kagata assured my master that he acknowledged the Attendants as rightful heirs of Jast, and so would all his subjects. Both leaders sat together for a long time, they ate fruit, drank clear water and discussed how to carry out this campaign. Finally they agreed to siege Jast, because the island had no sufficient water supply for the Tree People. And they would also try to contact the remaining brother in Jast to convince him to collaborate. But before Kalinorix' soul would travel back to his body he had another strange encounter.

Here be Dragons
Next Kalinorix met two big and colourful dragon newts. Their homeland was somewhere on the northern continent Genertela, where apparently their race was quiet common. Centuries ago they were sent to Pamaltela as emissaries and then they were forgotten. Since then they were guests of Kagata but had nothing to do otherwise. So they grew bored and were looking for something to happen. So Kalinorix in his unfathomable wisdom offered them to accompany him and the attendants. In return they would grant him a small number of their large war birds and since they were able to fly they would also provide airborne intelligence once in a while. After this agreement they spent some time small talking and learning more about the dragon newts. Eventually Kalinorix had to go back to Afadjann.

Close Encounters of the third kind
Upon arrival Kalinorix told the others what had happened and that they were going to war. Kallingman was reluctant at first but eventually Kastor could convince him that the risk was low and the potential benefit great. The Attendants would not need to use their own resources but instead could use and later keep a tree army. They would reclaim the ruin city of Jast, which could prove to be financially profitable. Furthermore Jast was not located in Afadjann but in neighbouring Kareeshtu and could become a bridgehead for the relations to our Fonritian cousins in the east. To my great surprise it seemed that the tree army was already in Afadjann and had make camp somewhere in the Poysida Strait. And so it was agreed to go to Temissrah first, then pick up the fleet and then sail off to Jast.
miniatur|These strange creatures call themselves Dragon Newts. Except for a handful of them, including the two emissaries to the Attendants, they can not be found anywhere in Pamaltela. They change colours in accordance with their mood.

But on the next day before we were to leave Zandorffo, the two dragon newts arrived. They were the strangest and at the same time most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. Kalinorix the Kunning greeted them in their language before he switched back to Afadjanni to welcome them more elaborately. In return they gave him an egg as gift, that immediately cracked and would soon hatch a baby dragon newt.

In their hurry the wing leaders forgot their original plan to travel to the neighbouring city of Hombori Tondo to meet the Jann of Afadjann. Instead we went directly to Temissrah. There Kalinorix met with AAAA, leader of the local Tree People, who gave him a ship for Rustlevoice. We also received 30 war birds from the dragon newts. Immediately it was decided to give some to the officers of the Attendants and use the rest to breed a new cavalry unit.

From Temissrah we sailed to the southern edge of Kanem Dar. First I could not see any ships at all, but when Kalinorix the Kunning stepped on the presumed land, I realised that it was in fact the fleet itself. The Aldryami must have waited here for aeons and had become a part of the island.

Now their commander appeared from between the trees and pledged allegiance to my master. We now had a fleet of approximately 40 Aldryami war ships, three human war ships with soldiers and provisions and one Aldryami ship for Kalinorix, Rustlevoice, the two dragon newts and the 17 Waertagi warriors. And somewhere on our ships we also had the Mostali fire powder. We were going to war!
