Neue Seite

[[Datei:Fonrit Slaves.jpg|miniatur|Ompalam's rule and thereby the Fonritan society is based on slavery. Accordingly there is always a need for slaves, which are a valuable trading good. Most slaves come from among the blue skinned Veldang, the primitive Doraddi, or the barbarian tribes of Umathela.]]
Ompalam is the god of coercion and slavery. He is widely worshipped in Fonrit, where he is the supreme deity in Afadjann and Kareeshtu. Every inhabitant in those city confederations is considered at least a lay member.

During the Gods War everybody wanted to be free and was willing to kill their neighbours for his own personal freedom. When the world was on the brink of destruction Ompalam gave it a new cosmic order. He made all living things slaves to the gods. Then he made all gods and goddesses slaves to himself. And finally he made himself slave to time itself.

If a slave would be foolish enough to demand freedom, it would be answered with all power of the law, because freedom does not only corrupt society it would eventually lead to the destruction of the world.

Darleester
Darleester the Noose is one of Ompalam's most valuable slaves and a state cult in Afadjann. He invented the noose for his master's slaves so that Ompalam could easily strangle any of them any time he wished.

Garangordos
Garangordos is the bringer of civilisation who conquered the Veldang and built a new empire based on Ompalam's divine rule. He gathered the 17 Glorious Ones and together the ventured on the Necklace of Live heroquest to recover ancient knowledge and restore civilisation. He recorded Ompalam's law in The Garangrapha to make it comprehensible for mortal minds. Later he was killed by Jokotu but he is still one of the most important deities in Fonrit.
